Have you ever needed to do a macro shot without having all the gear at hand to do it properly? To be honest with you I'm no Macro expert. In fact I do not have any great interest or desire for it, and doubt I ever will. However, there are times when some things need a tad more closer attention to detail than just a shot from an unsteady hand, and that's when things could start to get a bit more technical. But it doesn't have to be overly technical providing you have a modicum of imagination and you are able to think about this one outside of the box? You might want to take pictures of a coin for instance, or postage stamps, or some other small object that is perhaps difficult to photograph without getting up close. It could be that you need a tripod to get the shot perfectly steady and sharp, but you haven't got one to hand. There is also the question of a decent macro lens. Forget all that!
With this simple DIY tip you won't need to spend an arm and a leg on gear to get that odd macro shot you're after. This simple idea isn't for the macro enthusiast of course, but it will help those of us who need to get in real close on the odd occasion but haven't got the gear to do it properly with. And the best thing of all, there is no need to break into the piggy bank to set this one up. The link below will take you to the article that will explain all. I will try this idea out myself at some point in time and report back on its success in a future post. Just click the link below and all will be revealed.
